Meet the Team: Brandon Black

Sometimes the biggest opportunities begin with a leap of faith.

Sixteen years ago, Brandon Black and his wife made the decision to leave everything familiar behind and relocate to Florida in search of a brighter future for their family. He began his career in the offshore oil industry, where he gained valuable hands-on experience, but it didn’t take long for him to realize he wanted a career with greater long-term opportunities.

Determined to build a better future, Brandon enrolled at Tulsa Welding School in Jacksonville, Florida. After completing the program, he joined S&P as a welder – and never looked back.

Over the past 15 years, Brandon has grown alongside the company, advancing from Welder to Lead, Supervisor, and now Production Manager. Each step in his career has reflected his dedication, strong work ethic, commitment to quality, and ability to lead by example.

Today, Brandon oversees daily production operations, ensuring his team has the tools, resources, and support they need to succeed. He is passionate about fostering a workplace built on safety, quality, accountability, and teamwork – creating an environment where both employees and the company can continue to thrive.

Brandon’s story is a powerful reminder that investing in yourself, embracing change, and staying committed to your goals can open the door to extraordinary opportunities.
